31 October, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The surplus of the republican budget of Belarus for January-September 2011 amounted to Br2.1 trillion, or 1.1% of GDP. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Ministry of Finance. Revenues of the republican budget amounted to Br31.7 trillion, or 94.3% of the annual plan, expenditures - Br29.6 trillion, or 74.3%. For January-September 2011, the budget of the general government sector received VAT in the amount of Br15.6 trillion, or 79.7% of the annual plan, profit tax - Br6.2 trillion (84.2%). Excise taxes amounted to Br3.9 trillion (72% of the annual plan). Revenues from foreign economic activity increased to Br9.3 trillion and amounted to 128.1% of the annual plan. Receipts to the Social Protection Fund of the Population reached Br19.9 trillion (76.8%). As of October 1, 2011, the debt on taxes and fees amounted to Br26.3 billion and decreased by Br17.9 billion in September of the current year. Revenues of the general government sector budget for January-September 2011 amounted to Br72 trillion, or 84.9% of the annual plan. Expenditures of the general government sector budget for nine months amounted to Br66.6 trillion, or 73.7% of the annual plan. As a result, the surplus of the general government sector budget for January-September 2011 amounted to Br5.5 trillion, or 2.9% of GDP. Expenditures on general public services amounted to Br8.3 trillion (74.9%), on financing the national economy - Br9.5 trillion (71.9%).
