A new tractor, a gift from the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, was handed over today to the Lepel Agrarian-Technical College. The ceremony is attended by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.

– This year is rich in significant and important dates, filled with pleasant events and moments. And the new machinery handed over to the college is a much-needed gift. The students will work with the tractor in the fields, participate in the harvest campaign, and forge the agricultural glory of our region, – emphasized Alexander Subbotin. – Thank you to the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. We will use the tractor to its full potential, not only in the fields but also in the educational process.

The head of the FTUB, Yuri Senko, noted that many specialists who bring glory to the country have graduated from the Lepel Agrarian-Technical College, and presented the tractor keys to the college director, Oleg Lebed.

As a reminder, representatives of the largest public organization, led by Chairman Yuri Senko, participated in an unusual tractor assembly event at the Minsk Tractor Works, assembling a "Belarus" tractor. A special inscription was applied to the body of the high-powered machinery: "120 years of the trade union movement in Belarus".

This gift will open up new opportunities and improve the quality of training for agricultural specialists.

– In 50 years, our college has graduated over 19,000 specialists, both mid-level and vocational training. The most in-demand workers are trained here, who go to agricultural, road construction, and logging enterprises without waiting for assignment, – noted the Chairman of the Lepel District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich. – The new tractor has not only augmented the material and technical base of the college; it will be used in the production of agricultural products in the fields of the Lepel district. Thank you for the valuable gift!

The distinguished guests familiarized themselves with the material and technical base of the college. The trade union activists will also visit the Lepel District Agroservice and present awards to workers involved in the harvest.
