The Programme for the Development of the State Registration System for Real Estate, Rights to It, and Transactions Therewith for 2014-2018 is extended until 2020.

The Programme for the Development of the State Registration System for Real Estate, Rights to It, and Transactions Therewith for 2014-2018 is extended until 2020. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of October 17, 2018 No. 742 "On Amendments and Additions to Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of September 11, 2014 No. 874," as reported to BelTA correspondent by Yekaterina Lukyanova, Head of the Department for Registration, Technical Inventory of Real Estate and State Property Accounting of the State Committee for Property.

The successfully implemented Programme for the Development of the State Registration System for Real Estate, Rights to It, and Transactions Therewith is synchronised with the five-year terms for the implementation of the Programme for Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2016-2020 and the Programme for the Development of the Digital Economy and Information Society for 2016-2020.

"The deadline for implementing those programme measures, the execution of which is of a continuous nature and aimed at ensuring the maintenance of the real estate register, information interaction, provision of additional services to consumers, training and certification of specialists, control and maintenance of the integrity of the real estate register data, is extended until 2020," noted Yekaterina Lukyanova.

New tasks have also been set for the state real estate registration system for the next two years. These include the implementation of a modernised automated information system for maintaining a unified state register of real estate, rights to it, and transactions therewith. It is also planned to expand the capabilities of the specialised "personal account" service for users of the state registration system, and to use Earth remote sensing data in the software products of this system.

The modernisation of the software for the public cadastral map of Belarus is envisaged. This work is intended to increase the number of electronic services for the state, citizens, and businesses using the spatial data infrastructure.

The Resolution enters into force after official publication.
