A central fair with the participation of processing organisations, manufacturing enterprises, and farms of the Vitebsk region will be held on September 24-25 from 10:00 to 17:00 in Minsk near the Palace of Sports. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee. Fish farms, trading enterprises, and citizens who have grown produce on their household plots will also come to the fair. Purchases will be delivered to the homes of participants of the Great Patriotic War free of charge. The press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee emphasised that similar fairs will be held in all districts of the capital every Saturday and Sunday until November 6. Buyers will be offered a diverse assortment of fruit and vegetable products and food items: potatoes, cabbage, beetroot, carrots, onions, apples, pears, pumpkins, courgettes, aubergines, tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, cranberries, honey, and canned fruit and vegetable products. In addition, it will be possible to purchase meat and semi-finished meat products, sausages and smoked products, dairy products, bakery and confectionery products, pond and lake-river fish, and much more at producer prices from all regions of the republic. To ensure the supply of agricultural, fruit and vegetable products, and food items to the population of Minsk, 160 permanent sites have been provided in all administrative districts of the city for organising mobile trade from vehicles and stalls for the period from September 1 to November 30. In addition to a wide range of products offered at reasonable prices, summer cafes and a cultural music programme by artistic groups will be organised at the fairs. -0-
