The Prosecutor's Office of Lepel District supported the state prosecution at an on-site court hearing held at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Lepel District Executive Committee.

The Prosecutor's Office of Lepel District, at a field court session held at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Lepel District Executive Committee, supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 60-year-old resident of the district. He is charged with threat of murder, if there were grounds to fear its execution.

It has been established that the previously unconvicted accused, while in a state of alcoholic intoxication, at the home of his neighbor, on June 15, 2025, at approximately 18:00, during a quarrel initiated by him, which arose suddenly due to personal animosity and jealousy, threatened his cohabitant with murder, holding a knife to her neck and chest.

Due to the cohabitant's aggressive behavior and the preceding negative relationship between them, the woman perceived the threat of murder as real and feared its execution.

In the court session, the accused fully admitted his guilt.

Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the court of Lepel District rendered a guilty verdict. Pursuant to Article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, the accused was sentenced to arrest for a term of 1 month.

The court's verdict has entered into legal force.
