For reference: By Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus No. 22 dated 17.11.2022, the technical safety regulations "Requirements for the operation of inflatable playground equipment, inflatable attractions" (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) were approved. These Regulations are mandatory for organisations, regardless of their organisational and legal form and form of ownership, and individual entrepreneurs engaged in the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, technical inspection, modification, and repair of inflatable attractions.

The object of the inspection was the inflatable attraction "Safari Park" installed in the city park. During the supervisory measures, numerous violations of the operational requirements were identified. In particular, the fastening of the inflatable attraction did not comply with the established requirements, and the power sources, lighting switches, and their live parts were not protected against unauthorised access.

Furthermore, the inflatable attraction was installed in violation of legislative requirements; the distance at which it was located did not ensure its safe operation, which could have led to severe consequences for the young visitors of "Safari Park". Other violations were also identified.

Based on the results of the supervisory measures carried out by the prosecutor's office, the individual entrepreneur was required to take immediate measures to eliminate the identified violations of the legislation on the protection of children's life and health. By the order of the District Prosecutor, the operation of the inflatable attraction was suspended until the identified violations are rectified.
