We head to Secondary School No. 1 in the town of Lepel. Dressed-up, mature students, songs and poems, flowers for beloved teachers, parting words for 9th and 11th graders, and parents' tears – this is a brief description of the solemn ceremony at the educational institution. Honoured guests also came to congratulate the students on completing an important stage in their lives. Anatoly Karpitsky, Head of the Education Department of the District Executive Committee, noted that the students had finished a significant period of their lives, during which fundamental views of the world and friendship are formed, and experience is gained, which they will carry into the future. Ahead lie independent decisions and responsible actions, and great opportunities for self-realisation to find their place in life.

Wishing the graduates good luck were the school principal Oksana Kharlenok, Head of the Civil Registry Office of the District Executive Committee Elena Belskaya, 11th-grade form teacher Svetlana Stepanets, a student's mother Anastasia Pligovka, and other guests.
The graduates presented a touching dance performance for everyone present and recited poems about the wonderful years spent within the walls of their beloved school. For the eleventh graders, the academic year has ended, and exams await them, followed by the long-awaited prom. This year, it will be held in all schools across the country on June 10th. And in the early morning, greeting the dawn, the former schoolchildren will make their cherished wishes. Many of the students realise at such solemn events that their school years flew by in an instant, but it was the most wonderful time for making acquaintances, gaining not only new knowledge but also friends, and for self-expression. This day is both joyful and sad for them, as the melodious chime of the symbolic bell marks their farewell not just to their beloved school but also to their carefree childhood. New heights await them, which they will soon begin to conquer. And whatever profession they choose, the main thing is to remain true to their chosen goal, no matter how difficult it may be. There will always be a place for everything good and bright if you believe in yourself!
