Creative groups of the Lepel region have long achieved a significant performance level. Residents of our district have repeatedly seen bright performances by the exemplary dance ensemble “Zacharavashki”, the dance ensemble “Zateya” of the Lepel Children's Art School, and the exemplary dance ensemble “Lileya” of the District House of Culture. The participants of the three mentioned groups demonstrated their stage mastery and artistry at the I. Serikov Regional Competition, which took place in Vitebsk.

Creative groups of the Lepel region have long achieved a significant performance level. Residents of our district have repeatedly seen bright performances by the exemplary dance ensemble “Zacharavashki”, the dance ensemble “Zateya” of the Lepel Children's Art School, and the exemplary dance ensemble “Lileya” of the District House of Culture. The participants of the three mentioned groups demonstrated their stage mastery and artistry at the I. Serikov Regional Competition, which took place in Vitebsk.

Within the framework of the competition, the participants of the exemplary dance ensemble “Zacharavashki” prepared a number of choreographic compositions. The dances “Lebedinuska” and “Polka”, performed by fifth and sixth-grade students, left many vivid impressions on the audience. Fourth-graders captivated the audience with the compositions “Kupalskiye Kvetachki” and “Zakavyrki”. The audience also warmly welcomed the performance of the third grade of the dance ensemble “Zateya” with the composition “Strykach”, as well as the exemplary dance ensemble “Lileya” of the District House of Culture with the dance “Slanechnik”.

The participants of the exemplary dance ensemble “Zacharavashki” also prepared a number of choreographic compositions outside the competition, performing in the same program with the choreographic ensemble of the Vitebsk College of Arts. Russian and Jewish folk dances, “Rock-n-Roll”, “Kukarela”, and “Dixieland” gifted everyone with an excellent mood.

The performances of the Lepel dancers were not only very much liked by the guests of the event but also received high praise from the jury members.

Based on the results of the competition, the exemplary dance ensemble “Zacharavashki” was awarded a First Degree Diploma.
