Residents of the town and district, enterprises and institutions have subscribed to 1600 newspaper and magazine titles. Considering the periodicals already subscribed for the entire half-year, the total number of copies amounts to seven thousand. The district newspaper "Lepelsky Krai" remains the most popular.

Water Supply

Central water supply lines are funded by the state budget, while connections to houses and apartments are financed by their owners. The municipal unitary enterprise "Design and Architectural Bureau of Lepel Town and District" develops the design and estimate documentation for these works. Projects for water supply to Depavskaya, Pervomayskaya, Chapayeva, Sennaya, Zalineynaya streets, and others have been completed.

Under Design

Projects are being prepared for the modernization of a calf house into a milking parlour at the dairy farm of the Gorki agro-town, and for the reconstruction of a similar farm in the Sloboda agro-town, where cattle are intended to be kept loose.
