Thus, during the summer health campaign, 1,553 residential camps (including 146 stationary ones) and 4,519 day camps will accommodate children. During the summer holidays, it is planned to provide health improvement for 357.3 thousand children (209.9 thousand in day camps and 147.4 thousand in residential camps). All children wishing to attend will be provided with health resort opportunities, the Republican Centre emphasized.
According to specialists, 12.6 thousand orphans and 3.9 thousand children with disabilities aged up to 18 years will receive vouchers. Subsidies from local budgets will be provided to cover the full cost of vouchers for this category of children. The practice of health resort treatment for children with disabilities together with their accompanying adults at health resort and sanatorium-resort organisations will continue. Free vouchers purchased with state funds will be allocated to 2.5 thousand children residing in radioactive contamination zones.
During the summer, 15 thousand teenagers are planned to be accommodated in 884 work and recreation camps (782 day camps and 102 residential camps).
In total, Br39.1 million of budget funds are allocated for the summer health campaign of 2017, including Br0.6 million for assistance in preparing stationary health resorts for operation during the summer period.
The planned average cost of a voucher in the summer of 2017 will be: for a residential health resort - Br410 (budget subsidy - Br175); for a day health resort - Br90 (subsidy - Br72); for a specialised residential health resort for at least 9 days - Br100 (subsidy - Br75); for a day work and recreation camp - Br95 (subsidy - Br80); for a residential sports and health resort - Br465 (subsidy - Br196); for a day sports and health resort - Br105 (subsidy - Br82); for a residential sports and health resort for at least 9 days - Br112 (subsidy - Br85).
The parental contribution for a voucher to a camp with round-the-clock stay for 18 days or more will be at least 10% of its total cost, with approximately 45% of it being subsidized by state funds.
