Drunk driving is the most serious violation of the current Rules.Under the influence of alcohol, the perception of reality is distorted, and reaction time is reduced. All of this prevents the driver from correctly assessing the situation on the road and leads to an accident.
Responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated is provided for, depending on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapors in exhaled air:
from 0.3 to 0.8 per mille - 100 base units with deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for three years;
over 0.8 per mille - 200 base units with deprivation of the right to drive for five years.
