This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Sergey Fedchenko, Head of the Main Department for Control over the Agro-Industrial and Environmental Complexes of the State Control Committee.
Starting tomorrow, the working groups will begin studying the situation in agricultural organizations. The activities will be conducted in the form of monitoring. The inspectors will focus on the problematic issues raised at the national seminar-meeting on the development of rural areas and increasing the efficiency of the country's agrarian sector.
Sergey Fedchenko noted that, along with monitoring the readiness of farms for spring sowing and the organization of the sowing campaign, issues of effective use of the material and technical base of farms (machinery, agricultural facilities), land management, prevention of fictitious reporting, timely payment of wages to employees, and fuel preservation will be studied.
As the expert assured, the working groups will take all measures to eliminate the identified shortcomings in the shortest possible time. Officials found guilty of violating legislation and mismanagement will be held accountable.
