Viktor Sheiman reported to the President on the results of the enterprises of the Presidential Affairs Administration system in 2020, showing quite good results.
In particular, revenue from the sale of products amounted to Br2.6 billion (an increase of more than 140%). Agriculture, industry, and construction performed well – production volumes increased in all these sectors. Hotel business, tourism, and public catering showed more modest results due to the pandemic.
Regarding foreign trade, the positive balance was about $150 million.
Touching upon cooperation with African countries, Viktor Sheiman reported on the conclusion of a contract for the supply of equipment to this region and on the development of a subsequent agreement. In addition, the issue of building a tractor plant in one of the African countries is being worked on.
During the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko and Viktor Sheiman also discussed the preparations for the upcoming All-Belarusian People's Assembly and new areas of work.
