Employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, together with representatives of the OSOVOD (State Association for the Rescue of People on Water) and GIMS (State Inspectorate for Small Vessels), conducted raid activities on the water area of the district.

The aim is to prevent loss of life on water

As part of the raid, specialists reminded about the importance of observing water safety rules, especially during this dangerous period.

When communicating with fishing enthusiasts, special attention was paid to the mandatory presence of life jackets. All fishermen were informed of the sad facts of people's deaths due to carelessness and overconfidence, reminded of the basic measures for safe behaviour on water, procedures in case of an emergency, methods of rescue from water, and elements of first aid.

It is important that everyone is aware of their responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
