31 July, Minsk / Yekaterina Markovich - BELTA /. In Belarus, 356.7 km of heating networks have been replaced for the autumn-winter heating season, or 47% of the annual plan. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Tamara Zayats, Head of the Energy Department of the Housing and Utilities and Energy Department of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. In total, it is planned to replace 765 km of heating networks this year, including 125 km in the Brest region, 110 km in the Vitebsk region, 120 km in the Gomel region, 95 km in the Grodno region, 138 km in the Minsk region, 125 km in the Mogilev region, and 52 km will be relaid in Minsk. According to the specialist, 81.1 km of water supply networks (54% of the annual target) and 16.3 km of sewage networks (43%) have been replaced in the country. Also, 175 water towers (55%), 631 artesian wells (75%), and 466 pumps (72%) have been repaired. Regarding the preparation of the housing stock for the heating season, the specialist reported that in Belarus, 981.9 thousand sq.m of roofing (51% of the annual target) has been repaired, as well as 381.9 thousand linear meters of wall panel joints (63%). In addition, the housing and communal services system of Belarus currently has 982.9 thousand dense cubic meters of wood fuel (firewood and wood chips), or 61% of the annual target. "The housing and communal services of Belarus are making every effort to start the heating period fully prepared," assured the Head of the Energy Department of the Housing and Utilities and Energy Department.
