This morning, it also rang for the eleventh-graders and ninth-graders of Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel.
The school principal, Alexander Brutsky-Stempkovsky, addressed the graduates, teachers, parents, and guests of the celebration with a welcoming speech and best wishes:
- May your path into adult life be bright, peaceful, and joyful. We would like the school bell to always ring in your hearts, bringing you back to carefree school days.
Elena Borodeiko, Head of the Culture Department of the District Executive Committee, a guest of honour, also addressed the main protagonists of the celebration:
- I wish you, graduates, to successfully use the wealth of knowledge you have acquired within the school walls in choosing your future profession and on your life path. Many new ventures and discoveries await you.
The festive assembly was enhanced by musical performances and, of course, the Last Bell, whose ringing reminded the graduates: it's time to set sail – and good luck on your journey! Ahead lies adult, independent life with its excitements, anxieties, and joys. And the first step will have to be taken very soon, as a serious period is beginning for the students.
Joy, happiness, eager anticipation of new changes, and at the same time – sadness, tears of bright sorrow, a premonition of parting – such is the Last Bell ceremony.
