The district stage of the review competition for sanitary squads of enterprises and organizations of Lepel region was held at the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations.
Teams from three work collectives – the branch "Lepel Dairy and Canned Goods Plant", the unitary municipal enterprise "Borovka", and the Lepel Forestry – demonstrated their knowledge and skills in providing pre-medical aid to victims of natural disasters, industrial accidents, and other emergencies.
The head of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Ivan Petrovich Maskalkov, delivered a welcoming speech, highlighting the importance of these competitions and wishing the participants good luck, as well as hoping that the skills practiced here would never be needed in real life.
The sanitary squad competitions included both theoretical and practical tasks. The teams demonstrated their proficiency in equipping medical bags, donning gas masks, the work of sanitary teams in areas of combined injury, and combating infectious diseases – all this and more was showcased by the teams during the various stages.
According to the results of the competition, the first place among the sanitary squads was taken by the team from the branch "Lepel Dairy and Canned Goods Plant", the second place went to the unitary municipal enterprise "Borovka", and the third place to the team from the Lepel Forestry.
All prize-winning teams were awarded certificates and valuable gifts.
