A criminal case was considered against a group of persons who committed a crime provided for by Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
Thus, previously convicted V., having an unexpunged and unquashed conviction, in a group of persons by prior conspiracy with three other accomplices, from the territory of the parking lot of the Lepel district consumer cooperative, having broken the side window of a "Mazda 3" car without registration plates and for further movement of the front axle on a trailer, coupled with a "Volkswagen" car, intentionally, out of mercenary motives, secretly stole the aforementioned "Mazda 3" car, recognized on 03.01.2012 as material evidence in a criminal case and handed over for responsible storage to the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, after which they fled the scene of the incident and disposed of the property at their own discretion.
During the judicial investigation, all four defendants fully admitted their guilt and also compensated for the damage in this criminal case.
Taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, the court of Lepel district found four young men guilty of committing a crime provided for by Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (secret theft of property (larceny), committed by a group of persons, on a large scale) and previously convicted V. was finally sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 3 years and 1 month with confiscation of all property, to be served in a correctional colony under enhanced regime. Three accomplices were sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 3 years, with confiscation of all property, with the application of a deferral of the main sentence for 3 years each. Also, three accomplices are obliged to perform socially useful work in their free time from work, 120 hours each.
