A criminal case was considered against a native of the village of Krapivino, Orsha district, who committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

In the autumn of 2018, a native of the village of Krapivino posted an advertisement for the sale of grain to the public. He was aware that wheat and barley grain was stored in a warehouse in the village of Zaboenye, Lepel district. In November 2018, he released grain from the warehouse in the village of Zaboenye to citizen S., who became interested in whether grain could be purchased cheaper somewhere. Then, the native of the village of Krapivino decided that he could earn some money this way by selling grain, and said that college employees could purchase grain at a lower price against their wages. Although he knew that grain was not released to college employees against their wages and could be purchased at established prices. He decided that as long as there were no inventory checks at the warehouse, no one would notice the grain shortage. Thus, he sold part of the grain to citizen S. at a lower price, which he had stolen from the warehouse between November 2018 and January 2019.

Both during the preliminary investigation and the court investigation, the native of the village of Krapivino fully admitted his guilt and sincerely repented.

The court of Lepel district found the native of the village of Krapivino guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus and sentenced him to a fine of 40 basic units.

This sentence of the court of Lepel district has entered into legal force.
