In accordance with the legislation, the amounts of child benefits are reviewed quarterly due to changes in the subsistence minimum budget per capita (SMB). By a government resolution, the SMB has been approved for the period from May 1 to July 31 of the current year at Br743,000.20, which is 5.1% higher than the standard that is in effect from February 1 to April 30 of the current year. According to specialists, in May-July of the current year, the monthly child care allowance for a child under three years of age will be Br743,000.20, with a 75% supplement - Br1,300,000.290, with a 40% supplement - Br1,040,000.230. The monthly child care allowance for a child over three years of age will be Br371,510, with a 40% supplement - Br520,110. The one-time allowance for the birth of the first child from May will reach Br7,430,000.200, and for the birth of the second and subsequent children, Belarusian families will receive Br10,402,000.280. The one-time allowance for women who registered with a state healthcare organisation before the 12th week of pregnancy will be Br743,000.20 from May of the current year.
