According to Irina Novikova, one of the key points of the Address can be considered the Head of State's theses on the need for the rapid implementation of innovative technologies. "The Address emphasized the need to switch to an innovative development path. The President pointed out the need to reduce production costs and create high-tech jobs to ensure economic growth," she noted, adding that the development of nuclear energy, nanotechnologies, and biotechnologies will help accelerate the creation of such jobs.
"Certain steps are being taken in this direction: the country is already building its own nuclear power plant, and efforts are being made to develop nanotechnologies and biotechnologies. Enterprises of the sixth technological order need to be united into an innovation cluster to conduct joint developments. It is thanks to such developments that the economy can grow," believes Irina Novikova.
The professor emphasized that it is advisable to allocate credit funds precisely to high-tech, innovative projects. This will help avoid situations where funds are invested in the modernization of industries that have no future. Therefore, it is especially important to calculate prospective sales markets when implementing projects.
