The development of Tolochin and Senno districts will be linked to the restoration and creation of the production sector, as announced today at the official ceremony of seeing off the Vitebsk region delegation to the republican festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2012" by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, reports BELTA correspondent. A development program for Tolochin and Senno districts will be developed in the near future, with its implementation planned for 2013. These districts are of great importance for the development of the region's agro-industrial sector, the governor emphasized. Large-scale work will primarily focus on restoring the production sector: the textile factory in Tolochin, the reinforced concrete products plant in Kokhanovo. In Senno, the creation of industrial production facilities is also planned. The housing and communal services sector of the district centers will undergo modernization and renewal. The program will include work related to the creation of leisure and recreation infrastructure. Br100 billion is planned to be allocated from the regional budget alone for the implementation of the program in 2013. Along with these district centers, the settlements of Surazh and Ruba in Vitebsk district should receive accelerated development. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee recalled that the head of state and the government have set the local authorities the task of creating at least ten production facilities with a staff of more than 50 people in the district centers within the next two years.
