The first tickets for the concerts of "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will go on sale on February 22. This was announced at a press conference dedicated to the forum by Gleb Lapitsky, General Director of the Vitebsk Culture Centre and the festival, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Among the artists who will come to the festival, Gleb Lapitsky named the rock band "Kipelov", Alexander Panayotov, Stas Mikhailov, Valery Leontiev, Nadezhda Kadysheva and the ensemble "Zolotoye Koltso". The festival directorate will announce the other names later.
Another major project, which will take place on the Day of the Union State, will be dedicated to the anniversary of the ensemble "Pesniary" and Vladimir Muliavin. According to the festival director, this personality embodies the friendship between the two countries: being Russian by nationality, he did a great deal for the culture of Belarus. "This celebration will bring together many friends of the ensemble on stage," added Gleb Lapitsky.
He placed special emphasis on ticket prices, which will remain at the previous level. "Tickets will not become more expensive: this is a principled position of the festival directorate. For some events, for example, the opening ceremony, they will even become cheaper, because we must do everything to attract audiences. The directorate must negotiate and take measures to minimise the costs of holding the forum," stressed the festival director.
