Currently, the Ministry of Communications and Informatization and the Operational-Analytical Center are working to simplify the procedure for state registration of internet resources. In particular, to speed up the registration process, the amount of information that legal entities must provide during registration may be reduced, and some information may be replaced by a unique taxpayer number (UTN).
State registration of internet resources is provided for by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 644 of April 29, 2010 "On some issues of improving the use of the national segment of the global computer network Internet". It is carried out on a declarative basis upon submission of an application for registration by an internet service provider. The procedure is planned to be completed by July 1 of the current year. Subsequently, the registering organization will have to transfer information about the resources to the Operational-Analytical Center under the President of Belarus.-0-
