During the event, officers of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations visited RUP "Belpochta" and the Lepel branch of "Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society". Rescuers checked for the availability of fire safety and firefighting equipment for sale. Due attention was paid to the presence of certificates of conformity with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union Technical Regulation "On requirements for fire safety and firefighting equipment (TR EAEU 043/2017)".
Discussions were held with sales staff on the mandatory compliance with current legislation in the trade of fire safety and firefighting equipment. No instances of product sales without conformity assessment documents were identified.
