Officers from the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted regular raid activities at retail outlets to counter the circulation of hazardous products that do not comply with fire safety legislation.

During the event, officers of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations visited the "Grand" construction store (Lepel, M. Gorky St., 52a), the "TSK" Trade House construction store (Lepel, Partizanskaya St., 16), and postal service sections of the Lepel Post Office of the Polotsk Regional Postal Hub of the Vitebsk Branch of RUE "Belpochta". Rescuers checked for the availability of sale of electrical installation mouldings, fire protection agents, and technical means functioning as part of fire alarm systems (fire detectors). Due attention was paid to the presence of certificates of conformity with the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "On requirements for fire safety and firefighting equipment" (TR EAEU 043/2017).

Discussions were held with sales staff regarding the mandatory compliance with current legislation in the field of trade in fire safety and firefighting equipment. No instances of product sales without conformity assessment documents were identified.
