The busy season has begun, combines have entered the fields, and granaries are filling with the long-awaited harvest. To preserve it and prevent fires, during this hot period, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations are conducting raids on the sites of harvesting, storage, and processing of the crop.

Rescuers pay special attention to the training of workers involved in harvesting, the presence of accompanying equipment in the fields, the completeness and serviceability of primary fire extinguishing means for grain harvesting combines and grain drying complexes, and other fire safety requirements. Additional preventive talks were held with the employees of the agricultural enterprise on the need for strict adherence to fire safety rules. The measures will continue until the end of the harvesting campaign.
