With the arrival of summer, many parents send their children to a health resort camp. What should a child take with them?
Parents sending a child to a round-the-clock health resort camp must first help the child pack their belongings – having clothing and footwear suitable for Belarus's changeable weather will help maintain the child's health.
The following standard set is recommended:
A large sports bag or backpack, so that there are not too many small bags and packages in hand, and the child can transport their belongings independently.
To maintain health, personal items should be comfortable, preferably made of natural materials (cotton) or viscose: open T-shirts and sundresses, shorts or trousers for everyday wear (2-3 sets);
long-sleeved shirts (T-shirts) (1-2 sets);
swimsuit (swimming trunks);
tracksuit and closed sports shoes;
underwear (pants, vests, etc.) with a change frequency of at least every 2-3 days;
comfortable shoes (2 pairs) for everyday wear, beach shoes;
pyjamas or a nightgown;
2-3 warm sweaters (jumpers), jeans;
smart clothes for evening recreation, discos;
a jacket (windbreaker) for cold weather and rain;
a summer hat.
Don't forget personal hygiene items; you should take:
Toothbrush and toothpaste, toilet soap, laundry soap;
Washcloth, shampoo, bath soap;
Hairbrush, nail scissors;
a large bath towel for the beach and shower;
for girls: cosmetics for skin and body care, sanitary products.
It is also advisable to have mosquito repellent.
Ensure that the child does not take items that could be disruptive or harmful to their health and the health of others (candles, matches, tobacco products, drugs, alcoholic beverages, knives, etc.).
