The Forum of Rectors of Universities of Russia, Brazil and Belarus and the Forum of Rectors of BRICS Countries are being held in Moscow, reports the Telegram channel "Vitebsk Region. Officially".
The forums are taking place from October 16 to 18 in Moscow. The Vitebsk region is represented by: Valentina Bogatyreva, Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, and Alexey Chukanov, Rector of the Vitebsk State Medical University named after the Order of Friendship of Peoples.
Valentina Bogatyreva delivered a report at the plenary session of the Forum on the topic "The Place of a Regional University in the BRICS Cooperation Platform".
Alexey Chukanov delivered a report on the topic "Opportunities and Potential of Belarusian Medical Education".
On October 17-18, the rectors will hold negotiations with the leadership of educational institutions of the Russian Federation and BRICS countries, during which it is planned to discuss the interim results of the implementation of cooperation programs with partner higher education institutions and establish new contacts with universities of BRICS states.
