30 August, Mozyr District /Tatyana Polezhay – BELTA/. Profitability will be the main economic indicator in the next five-year period. This was stated today by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a working trip to the Gomel Region, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "We will look at the growth dynamics, but the main indicator will be profitability, so focus on that," stressed the head of state. Alexander Lukashenko said that the country has largely completed major innovations in agriculture. "They need to be finalized in the next five-year period. Now we need to verify the correctness of the chosen course, refine the agro-towns and make targeted financial injections into specific areas of the program," the President noted. The head of state added that "under no circumstances should the dissipation of funds be allowed." At the same time, the President drew attention to the need to maintain the strictest discipline and technological standards. "However, I will emphasize once again that the dynamics in all areas and profitability should be the main focus," Alexander Lukashenko concluded. -0-
