In January-July 2021, individual developers commissioned 2,000 square meters of housing.
To fulfil the construction programme for 2021, the construction of apartment buildings is actively underway:
"60-apartment residential building on Shkolnaya Street in Lepel, Vitebsk Region" with a total area of 3,382 square meters. The facility is scheduled for commissioning in September 2021. Construction of apartments in this residential building is already being undertaken by 35 large families, who will receive 44 apartments.
"40-apartment residential building on Kalinin Street in Lepel, Vitebsk Region" with a total area of 2,218 square meters. The facility is scheduled for commissioning in December 2021. Currently, the allocation of apartments in this residential building is actively underway, primarily for large families, orphans, and families raising children with disabilities.
In addition to housing construction projects, work on social infrastructure facilities will continue in 2021:
"Centre for Labour and Social-Domestic Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons in Lepel, Lobanka St., 30", 2nd commissioning stage;
"Children's Rehabilitation and Health Centre 'Zhemchuzhina' in Borovka settlement, Lepel District. Dormitory building for 166 places";
"Restoration of a 19th-century architectural monument as a local history museum (former wine warehouse building) on Sovetskaya Street in Lepel".
The construction of an iron removal plant in Pyshno settlement, Staysky rural council, is planned for 2021.
As part of the implementation of the targets of the State Programme "Housing Construction" for 2021-2025, the Lepel District Executive Committee has developed urban planning documentation for the following projects:
"Detailed Plan 'Zapadny' in Lepel". This covers the area of Polotsky Trakt Street, Polevaya Street in Lepel. The project envisages the construction of 80 single-family houses, 16 semi-detached houses, and low-rise comfort-enhanced residential buildings;
"Detailed Plan for the Apartment Building Development Area of the 'Severo-Vostochny' Microdistrict". This covers the area of Vitebskaya and Gospitalnaya Streets in Lepel. The project envisages the construction of apartment buildings primarily using electricity for heating, hot water supply, and cooking, with a total area of 72.5 thousand square meters of housing. This includes 20.9 thousand square meters of housing in the first stage of the project implementation (by 2025), and 18.3 thousand square meters of housing in the second stage (by 2035).
