On February 7, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of the republican campaign "Safety – Into Every Home!", visited the round-the-clock stay department of the Lepel District Territorial Center for Social Services "Svetlitsa", which currently houses 42 pensioners.

On February 7, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of the republican campaign "Safety – Into Every Home!", visited the round-the-clock stay department of the Lepel District Territorial Center for Social Services "Svetlitsa", which currently houses 42 pensioners. During the conversation, special attention was paid to tragic examples of people perishing in fires in the district, with specific tragedies used to analyse fire emergencies. In an accessible manner, rescuers explained to the elderly people the principle of operation of autonomous fire detectors, how to properly maintain them, and provided examples of lives saved as a result of their activation. Rules for the use of electrical and gas appliances were explained. After watching the educational film "Rules of Conduct in Case of Fire", the department's residents willingly answered quiz questions. The algorithm of actions in case of fire and the rules for calling rescuers were also discussed together. Active participants of the event were given leaflets "Safety – Into Every Home!". At the end of the meeting, the folk art group "Sudarushki" from the day care department for elderly citizens of the same center performed a concert program, which brought positive emotions and good spirits to the people. In conclusion, the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff wished everyone good health and adherence to safety rules.
