To prevent fires and deaths from them, from January 23 to February 10, the Lepel district will host the republican campaign "Safety - into Every Home!".

The main objective of the campaign is to draw citizens' attention to the problem of fires and deaths from them, as well as to conduct extensive explanatory work among the population on the prevention of emergencies.

The campaign events will be held in three stages.

The first stage of the campaign will take place from January 23 to 27, where employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will pay special attention to preventive work with persons abusing alcohol and leading an antisocial lifestyle.

Participants of the second stage of the campaign, which will take place from January 30 to February 8, will be visitors of day care departments at territorial centers for social services for the population. The main focus in working with the elderly, pensioners, and lonely individuals will be on conducting preventive discussions and training on proper actions in case of an emergency.

Also, as part of the second stage, rescuers will meet with students of the Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College, as well as with students of the graduating classes of the city and district. During the events, forms of work such as discussions and game programs, competitions, quizzes, and demonstration of educational films will be used.

The final event of the campaign will take place from February 9 to 10 at the "Hit Express" store in the city of Lepel, where rescuers will set up educational platforms to once again remind the residents of Lepel region of safety rules, and will also hold thematic quizzes, competitions, lotteries, etc.
