On March 6, Minsk / Olga Belyavskaya - BELTA /. The republican decade "State Technical Inspection" will be held in Belarus from March 20 to 30, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The main goal of the campaign is to strengthen control over the timely passing of the state technical inspection of vehicles and to draw the attention of car owners to the issues of maintaining vehicles in technically sound condition. "Employees of UP 'Beltekhosmotr', the State Automobile Inspectorate and the Transport Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport will be particularly strict with car owners whose vehicles have not passed the state technical inspection on time," the Ministry of Transport emphasized. A plan for joint raids has been drawn up, and patrol routes have been agreed upon. "Patrolling groups will pay attention to vehicles operated without a permit sticker on the windshield. Vehicles with obvious discrepancies in appearance will also be checked," the ministry said. Special attention will be paid to vehicles belonging to agricultural enterprises. Car owners operating vehicles without a timely passed state technical inspection will be punished with a fine of up to two basic units. "Beltekhosmotr" strongly advises car owners not to postpone their visit to the diagnostic station, as well as not to use services for illegal passing of the state technical inspection. -0-
