From the first day of calendar winter, traffic police inspectors will start relevant raids. A fine of up to one base unit (1 BU — Br40) is provided for participating in traffic without winter tires. A repeated violation of this kind within a year entails responsibility from 2 to 5 base units.
Drivers need to switch to a winter driving style for the frosty season. It is unacceptable to make sharp maneuvers and lane changes. It is important to understand that in such weather conditions, the braking distance increases several times, and the risk of skidding and hitting pedestrians increases.
