30 September, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The republican budget for January-August of the current year was executed with a surplus of Br1.3 trillion, or 0.9% of GDP. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by the Ministry of Finance of Belarus. The surplus of the general government sector budget for the specified period reached Br5.1 trillion, or 3.3% of GDP. Revenues of the republican budget amounted to Br27.2 trillion, or 80.8% of the annual plan, revenues of the general government sector budget amounted to Br62 trillion, or 75.6% of the annual plan. For January-August 2011, VAT revenues to the general government sector budget amounted to Br13.8 trillion, or 72.2% of the annual plan. Profit tax revenues amounted to Br4.6 trillion (68.6%). Excise taxes amounted to Br3.3 trillion, or 61.9% of the annual plan. Revenues from foreign economic activity amounted to Br8 trillion, or 110.4% of the annual plan. Receipts to the Social Protection Fund of the Population were estimated at Br17.2 trillion, or 66.4%. As of September 1, the debt on taxes and fees amounted to Br44.2 billion and decreased by Br11.9 billion in August. Expenditures of the general government sector budget for January-August 2011 amounted to Br56.9 trillion, or 64.2% of the annual plan, expenditures of the republican budget - Br25.8 trillion, or 64%. Expenditures on general public services reached Br7 trillion (64.3%), on financing the national economy - Br8.5 trillion (66%). Br34.3 trillion (63.7%) were allocated for financing the social sphere (social policy, education, healthcare, physical culture, sports, culture and mass media, Social Protection Fund of the Population). -0-
