The Republican Festival of Artistic Creativity of Students and Youth "ART-vacations" will be held from March 26 to April 14, the organizers informed BELTA.
The theme-slogan of this festival is "Youth and Creativity - the History of the Future!". The best creative groups and individual performers of choreographic, vocal, folklore, instrumental, and theatrical genres will demonstrate their skills at the final events of the regional stages: marathons, interactive platforms, festivals, thematic concert programs. Events in the regions will take place from March 26 to April 10. Performances by creative groups of higher education institutions in Minsk will take place from April 3 to April 14 according to a separate schedule.
Talented students will present modern trends and art ideas to schoolchildren, future applicants, and preserve traditions and innovative solutions, ideas, and examples of amateur creativity to leaders of interest groups and educators of vocational, secondary vocational, and additional education institutions for children and youth.
The goals and objectives of the republican festival are: to form a value attitude of youth towards the historical and cultural heritage of the Belarusian people, citizenship, patriotism, national self-awareness of youth based on state ideology, to promote the introduction of socio-cultural innovations, to support creative initiatives, to develop and self-realize youth.
The Ministry of Education of Belarus and the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth are the organizers of the festival.
