The Republican professional skills competition among workers of high and supercritical pressure power plants will be held in Vitebsk at the "Training Centre" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo" from October 25 to 27, BELTA was informed at the enterprise.
The best boiler and steam turbine operators, as well as power plant electrical equipment maintenance electricians from all over the country will arrive in Vitebsk. Representatives of 14 teams will compete for the title of the best in their profession. The teams include winners of the first stage of the competition (which was held among power plant personnel in regional energy systems).
The contestants will compete in their knowledge of theoretical issues and safety regulations. They will also need to demonstrate practical skills in identifying and eliminating equipment malfunctions, as well as the ability to provide first aid to the injured, and much more.
The Vitebsk region energy system will be represented at the professional skills competition by teams from Lukomlskaya GRES, Novopolotskaya and Vitebskaya CHPP.
