A republican subbotnik (voluntary work day) will be held in Belarus on April 22. This is stipulated by a resolution of the Council of Ministers, signed by the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, as reported by the government's press service.

The press service also detailed how the funds earned on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will be allocated.

Specifically, half of the funds are planned to be directed to the Gomel Regional Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the memorial complex to the prisoners of the Ozarichi death camp (Kalinkovichi District). Another 50% will be transferred to the Brest Regional Executive Committee for the creation of a republican center for patriotic education of youth on the basis of the Kobrin Fortress of the Brest Fortress.
