A journalist from the Lepel Chronicle, accompanied by representatives from the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS), the Belarusian Rescue Society (OSVOD), and the Department for Emergency Rescues (ROChS), conducted a raid on the picturesque Lake Lepel.

This location, renowned for its beauty and purity, has become popular among locals and tourists. However, as the raid results demonstrated, not all visitors adhere to water safety regulations. During the inspection, two individuals were identified who were swimming in unauthorized areas. “The lake is indeed attractive to people, especially in warm weather. But it is important to remember that water safety primarily involves adhering to established rules,” noted the specialists. “We conduct such raids to remind visitors of the necessity to follow recommendations and exercise caution.”

Representatives from the services engaged in explanatory work with the offenders, explaining the potential risks and consequences of their actions.
