MChS Raids and Nature Protection

With the arrival of spring warmth, the season of preventive raids to prevent ecosystem fires has begun in the Lepel district.

Special attention is paid to rural settlements, where the tradition of tidying up household plots using fire often leads to tragedies.

During another such raid, senior engineer of the SOF GSPiLChSiGO of the Lepel Emergency Rescue Department Andrey Timashkov and the head of the district inspectorate of natural resources and environmental protection Vadim Vargan met with residents.

The purpose of the event is to warn citizens against reckless burning of dry vegetation and to remind them of safety rules when tidying up land.

Competent specialists explained to the district residents that the legislation does not prohibit the disposal of dry vegetation by burning, but only under strict compliance with a number of conditions.
