Since January 17 of the current year, amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Rights of the Child", initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus, have come into force.

Parents are now obligated to ensure the protection of children from information posted on the internet that harms their life and health.

Dear parents, to ensure the information security of minors, the prosecutor's office recommends: installing parental control functions on all devices, disabling in-game and in-app purchases without additional confirmation, and limiting internet usage time.



In addition, it is recommended to use websites and browsers with advanced protection mechanisms. It is also important to develop essential skills such as: not clicking on suspicious links, not sharing personal data, not communicating with strangers, critically assessing messages about free gifts and hacks, and reporting situations that cause concern.



Remember: children's safety directly depends on your attentiveness and involvement!
