"The State Border Committee is ready to arrange a visit for the relatives of the deceased journalists to the helicopter crash site at any time convenient for them. As soon as they decide they are psychologically ready for this, we will provide them with this opportunity," explained the press secretary. It is planned to erect a memorial plaque at the helicopter crash site. According to Alexander Tishchenko, a collection of donations for the families of the deceased pilots and the film crew of the TV channel of the Union State is currently underway among border guard officers. Compensation to the relatives of the pilots, in accordance with the current legislation, will be paid after the investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy is completed. "A special commission, with the participation of representatives from Eurocopter and Turbomeca companies, continues to study the causes of the crash. The duration of the stay of French specialists in Belarus is not limited; they will remain here for as long as necessary," the source said.
