On October 26, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. A republican seminar in the Vitebsk region is dedicated to the role of the regional educational space in the socialization of youth, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The seminar "Regional Educational Space as a Factor of Successful Socialization and Civic-Patriotic Development of Personality" will be held on October 27-28 at educational and cultural institutions in Polotsk and Novopolotsk. Its participants will include representatives of the ministries of education, culture, sports and tourism, internal affairs, heads of the National Institute of Education, the Academy of Postgraduate Education, republican institutions of additional education, as well as principals of educational institutions in the Vitebsk region. A total of 70 people are expected. On the first day, seminar participants will get acquainted with the educational process in Polotsk schools - Gymnasium No. 1, Secondary School No. 18 named after E. Polotskaya, etc. Then, at the Palace of Culture of JSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno", a presentation of the activities of the best institutions of additional education in the Vitebsk region from Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk, Rossony district and other regions will take place, and in St. Sophia Cathedral, the Novopolotsk exemplary choir "Zvonkiye Golosa" will demonstrate its skills. In July of this year, this ensemble won a Grand Gold Medal and an invitation to the 2012 Olympic Choral Games at the World Choir "Grand Prix" held in Graz, Austria. On October 28, the seminar program includes visits to the Museum of History and Culture in Novopolotsk, educational institutions, the city digital center, and the center for sustainable development, operating on the basis of the Novopolotsk State Lyceum. Here, an exchange of views and a round table will be held, during which participants will discuss opportunities for increasing the effectiveness of the use of regional space in the personality development of the younger generation, as well as ways to introduce new innovative developments into the educational process.
