Yuri Tsoi, Executive Director of the Social and Economic Stabilization Fund of the Government of the Leningrad Region, informed BELTA correspondent about his interest in implementing this project. The investment project has been proposed by the Orsha District Executive Committee. "I hope that our cooperation will be successful, life itself pushes us towards joint work and the realization that we need to work through a system of logistics centers," said Yuri Tsoi. He emphasized that a similar opportunity could be provided to Belarusian investors in the Leningrad Region. "We already have two centers under construction, and the construction of another one is possible," the interlocutor added. The transport and logistics center in the Orsha district is planned to be built on the territory of the Vysokovskoye rural council, east of the village of Lyudkovshchina. A land plot of 22.6 hectares adjoins the M1/E30 Brest-Minsk-Russian Federation border (Redki) highway from the north, the border runs 4 m from the edge of the main drainage canal from the east, is 300 m from the main gas pipeline from the south, and 150 m from the branch gas pipeline to BelGRES from the west. Access to the formed plot will be provided from the M1/E30 Brest-Minsk-Russian Federation border (Redki) highway. At the II International Forum "Innovative Business - Investments of the Future," which is taking place in Vitebsk on October 21-22, another project for the construction of a logistics center in the Miory district worth $3 million is presented. A land plot of 0.3 hectares is located three kilometers from Miory on the 72nd km of the R-14 Polotsk-Miory-Braslav highway in the village of Masevtsy. The attractiveness of this investment proposal is due to the proximity of the borders with Russia and Latvia, intensive road traffic (over 900 vehicles per day), the availability of infrastructure and access roads. The initiator of the investment project is the Miory District Executive Committee. The business forum is designed to activate cooperation processes between regions, cities, economic entities, contribute to the growth of export and investment potential, facilitate the implementation of joint investment projects, and present innovative ideas and developments.
