Belarus' borders are always open for business cooperation and the development of friendly contacts with neighbouring countries, according to the congratulatory message from Head of State Alexander Lukashenko to the command, personnel, and veterans of the Border Guard Service of Belarus. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Belarusian leader. As the President noted, throughout all times, the defence of the Fatherland's borders has been one of the most complex and responsible tasks, which the Motherland entrusted only to its best warriors. And the current generation of Belarusian border guards, remaining loyal to military traditions, demonstrates high combat proficiency. In recent years, significant transformations in border activities have been carried out, measures have been taken to enhance the reliability of state border protection, and issues of its equipping have been consistently addressed. "Our borders are always open for business cooperation and the development of friendly contacts with neighbouring countries. And at the same time, they are an effective barrier against modern challenges and threats," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized. Alexander Lukashenko addressed special words of gratitude and wishes for good health to veterans who dedicated the best years of their lives to the guarding and defence of the Fatherland's borders. The Head of State expressed confidence that the Border Guard Service will continue to be a reliable stronghold of Belarus' security. -0-
