The managers and specialists of agricultural and processing enterprises, the workers of fields and livestock complexes, and scientists are the pride and main support of the state. Thanks to loyalty to agricultural traditions and diligent land management, the country's food security is ensured. It is gratifying that the high-quality and natural products manufactured by our producers enjoy well-deserved recognition and trust in both domestic and foreign markets.
The agricultural sector of the Vitebsk region has enormous potential. To realise it, our villagers possess both knowledge and skill. The main focus of work, as before, is directed towards modernising the industry: upgrading production, technical re-equipment, and constructing new livestock facilities. An important priority is strengthening the prestige of the rural worker profession, providing them with everything necessary for a decent life and highly productive labour.
On this festive day, special words of gratitude are addressed to the industry veterans – those who created the production and processing capacities of agriculture, who are still active today, passing on their experience to the younger generation – the present and future masters of our native land.
