Today, the social protection system of the Vitebsk region is a dynamically developing, multifunctional system employing over 6,000 people. The promptness of residents in receiving social guarantees, the quality and accessibility of social services, and timely pension provision depend on the qualification and competence of these individuals.
Approximately one-third of the region's residents – veterans, people with disabilities, and families with children – are under the constant care of specialists. Every year, forms of social work are improved, the range of services is expanded, and innovative technologies are developed and implemented.
