As noted by Deputy Minister of Economy Alexey Zubovich, in 2021-2025, Lepel consistently ranked among the TOP-3 districts of the Vitebsk region in terms of investment in fixed assets, outpacing the regional and national averages by 2.2 times.

— You have your own "success stories": two projects of the "One District - One Project" initiative have been implemented, about 40 high-paying jobs have been created. For the second year, a new support mechanism "Regional Initiative" has been in effect, and three projects from Lepel region have already become part of its pool. Given the unprecedented financial preferences for the Vitebsk Poozerye — a maximum budget transfer of 35 percent, we understand that there can and should be many more such promising ideas.
