RUP "Vitebskavtodor" enterprises have created an 80 percent reserve of de-icing materials for winter, the enterprise's General Director Adam Konoplich told a BELTA correspondent. Currently, about 80 thousand tons of de-icing materials have been prepared for winter, and a five-day fuel reserve has been formed. The necessary equipment is ready to perform the full range of work to ensure road traffic safety, Adam Konoplich noted, adding that the enterprise's divisions are already operating in the winter road maintenance mode. In addition, for two weeks, roads have been selectively treated with de-icing materials in most districts of the region. "Currently, the work is proceeding as usual, all divisions are ready for deteriorating weather conditions and temperature drops," the head concluded. -0-
